Daimler Truck joined the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in December and is trying to enter the Blue-chip DAX index, this is where they would link up with Mercedes-Benz.
Inside the business, Mercedes-Benz employees have been using the name since the change, which was the anniversary of Carl Benz’s application to patent his motor vehicle in 1886.
The goal of the changeup was to take a unique approve to the development of different technological challenges that the 2 companies face, as the vehicle industry moves towards renewable sources of transportation.
“While battery technology is essential to the future of passenger cars, hydrogen will play an important role in the truck department”, Kallenius said when Daimler Truck launched on the stock market.
The Mercedes-Benz group currently has a 35% stake in Daimler Trucks after the change-up. This opens up many opportunities for both companies for future technological development.
